Bio-Melatonin Complex Lozenges
Bio-Melatonin Complex is a dietary supplement containing 0.29 mg of the active substance melatonin per lozenge. It also contains 10 mg of niacin. Melatonin should always be taken before going to bed.
Using a lozenge prevents the so-called gateway effect, which occurs with melatonin tablets. This effect causes 90% of the melatonin swallowed to leave the body unused. With a lozenge, the melatonin is already absorbed into the oral mucosa and the portal vein effect is prevented. This ensures 10x better absorption of the melatonin. The dosage of 0.29 mg thus gives a similar absorption as 2.9 mg melatonin.
Bio-Melatonin Complex also contains 10 mg of niacin. For the body's own production of melatonin, the substance L-tryptophan is used as a raw material. The same substance is also the raw material for the production of niacin. By adding 10 mg of niacin, 600 mg of L-tryptophan is saved for the body's own production of melatonin.

Suggested use
