Bio-Carotene contains 6 mg of pure beta-carotene per capsule. There is no recommended daily allowance (RDA) for beta-carotene. In the body it is converted into vitamin A. This is indicated in retinol activity equivalents (RAE). From beta-carotene to vitamin A, the conversion factor of 1:12 is used. In Bio-Carotene, the beta-carotene is contained in an oil mixture that keeps it stable and increases its absorption.
Studies have shown that beta-carotene is even better absorbed from the supplement than from vegetables.
Ingredients
Filler: soybean oil, capsule wall: bovine gelatin, humectant: glycerol, purified water, Beta-Carotene (vitamin A), d-α-tocopherol (vitamin E), colorant: iron oxide.

Suggested use
1 capsule daily, unless otherwise advised. Preferably during/after the meal as a whole. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. A food supplement cannot replace a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children. For optimal storage conditions, store in a cool, dry place. (59° -77° F / 15°-25° C) (35-65% relative humidity).
At a dosage of 3 capsules per day or higher, tanning of the skin may occur.
Long-term use of high dosages (5+ capsules per day) by heavy smokers is not recommended.
