VitaCholine

#
CC2127-60

Is good for the liver, contributes to normal lipid metabolism and maintenance of cell membrane structure, among other things.
Choline is a lesser-known but important nutrient related to the B vitamins. It is an essential nutrient because the body does not produce it sufficiently itself and must be obtained in large part from the diet. Choline has an important partnership with magnesium, vitamin B6, B12, folate and MSM, among others.

CellCare has chosen the superior and pure quality of Vitacholine® (choline bitartrate). The advantages of this form are its rapid solubility and availability in the body.

Choline is an essential nutrient for health, first recognized by the Institute of Medicine in 1998. Recent studies show that more than 90% of people do not get enough choline through diet alone. Important research on choline supplementation during pregnancy has included this ingredient.

The European Commission determined in 2012 that three health claims for choline may be considered scientifically proven. It was found to be important for normal lipid metabolism, normal homocysteine metabolism and a properly functioning liver.

The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) ruled in 2016 that choline is an essential nutrient, which the body does not produce sufficiently on its own and must be obtained in large part from the diet. The adequate intake in Europe was set at 400 mg/day for adults, based on the average intake in European countries. For women who are pregnant, 480 mg/day is advised and for breastfeeding women as much as 520 mg per day.

In 2016, an adequate intake was also established for the first time in America. This is based on clinical research specifically designed to determine daily requirements (sufficient for a healthy liver), and came to 550 mg/day. The average intake of adults in Europe varies between 291 and 468 mg/day. For normal lipid metabolism (lipids are fats), choline is important. Among other things, choline contributes to maintaining the structure of cell membranes. Choline is also good for the liver, contributing to the maintenance of normal liver function and supporting the cleansing action by the liver. Furthermore, choline plays a role in the production and breakdown of homocysteine.
