Antioxidant Essentials contains a variety of substances, both vitamins as well as herbs and specific bodily substances. Antioxidants play an important role in neutralizing free radicals. Free radicals are substances that occur naturally during the production of energy in our cells. Normally, a healthy body itself is well able to eliminate these free radicals with the help of antioxidants.
However, with our current diet and lifestyle, we ingest many more pollutants, for example through the air, our food, drinking water and cosmetics. In addition, one may also be genetically predisposed to a reduced production of antioxidants. This increases the burden of free radicals in the body and decreases the amount of antioxidants, resulting in oxidative stress. Oxidative stress is linked, among other things, to accelerated aging of tissues, cell damage and energy deficiencies, and is the basis for chronic degenerative diseases.
Suggested use
Take 1 to 2 tablets daily with a meal with water or juice, unless otherwise advised by a healthcare practitioner. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Keep dry and at room temperature. Keep out of reach of young children.
Warning
Consult an expert if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Ginkgo biloba can influence the effect of anticoagulants. Do not use in case of bile duct disorders. Consult your doctor or pharmacist in case of concomitant use of medication. A varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle are important. Dietary supplements are no substitute for a varied diet.
