What is Psyllium?
Psyllium (VLo seed) consists of the seed skins of seeds of plants and consists of more than 80% fiber. Psyllium fibers, like oatmeal and whole grain products, belong to the non-soluble and non-fermentable fibers: they are not absorbed by the body, but contribute to digestion by making intestinal contents softer and more voluminous. Psyllium supports healthy cholesterol levels** a normal bowel movement** and contributes to feeling full**.
When using Psyllium, ensure adequate fluid intake.
Binder in gluten-free bread
Psyllium is used as a binder in gluten-free bread because of its highly absorbent properties. This property replaces the action that gluten normally has.

Fiber

Suggested use
