Acacia Vezels (bio)

Acacia fiber comes from Acacia trees, which are native to Africa. The sap that comes from these trees is dried, forming a fiber powder. Acacia fiber contains 83% soluble fiber, which is also called digestible fiber or prebiotic fiber. Dietary fiber comes mainly from the cell wall of plants and we get it when eating vegetables, fruits, bread, cereals, legumes and nuts.

Our modern diet, unlike the "traditional" diet, contains little fiber. The recommendation is to eat 30 to 40 grams of fiber daily. Mattisson Organic Acacia Fiber contains 3 grams of soluble fiber per daily dose and has a mild, neutral taste. This allows our Acacia fiber to be easily incorporated into a variety of food products. Acacia fiber can also be sprinkled dry over oatmeal and salad.

Composition

Suggested use
Mix 2 tablespoons (about 10 grams) into a large glass of water. First add the Acacia fiber to the glass and then add water while stirring. Drink the glass empty and then drink another glass of water. Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Instead of water, Acacia fiber can also be added to fruit juice, yogurt, a smoothie or tea. Preferably in the morning before meals. Any sediment is normal. This product is not a substitute for a varied diet. Store cool, dry and sealed. A healthy lifestyle is important, as is a varied balanced diet, for which dietary supplements are no substitute. Keep out of reach of children.
