Lactase is a digestive enzyme that the body needs to break down the milk sugar lactose. Lactase is produced in the small intestine. If no or too little lactase is formed undigested lactose moves to the colon, where it is fermented. This leads to production of water, carbon dioxide and organic acids, which affect the normal functioning of the intestines.
Lactase Complex 350 mg supports the digestion/division of lactose in the intestines and is beneficial for normal intestinal function. The enzyme activity of lactase is expressed in Food Chemical Codex (FCC) units, a standard for plant enzymes, which is better than expressing it by weight because it indicates enzyme activity.

Suggested use
For individuals who have difficulty digesting lactose, take 1 tablet before a meal containing milk or milk products (lactose), or as recommended by a professional.
