EGCG-50+ decaffeinated green tea extract with complex of catechins and polyphenols
Of all the tea varieties, green tea contains the highest percentage of polyphenols. These polyphenols consist of 6 different catechins. The main ones are; epicatechin, epicatechin-3-gallate, epigallocatechin and mainly epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG). EGCG is the most active polyphenol in green tea and the most studied.
- Decaffeinated; contains ≤ 1 mg of caffeine per capsule.
- Contains at least 95% polyphenols, 75% catechins and 50% EGCG.
- Green tea contributes to the protection of cells and tissues from oxidative damage.
- The combination of EGCG with other catechins enhances the protective effects of green tea.

Green tea (Camelia sinensis) (leaf) extract (standardized to min 95% polyphenols, 75% catechins, 50% EGCG) 200 mg; Stabilizer (capsule: hypromellose); Filler (cellulose); Anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide).
Suggested use
1 to 3 times daily 1 capsule, on an empty stomach. Do not take along with milk products. Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. A food supplement cannot replace a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Keep out of reach of children. For optimal storage conditions, store in a cool, dry place. (59° -77° F / 15°-25° C) (35-65% relative humidity).
Interactions
Do not take simultaneously, but at least 2-4 hours apart, with:
- Risperidone, Sunitinib and Folic Acid - green tea decreases absorption.
Do not use in combination with:
- Methotrexate, Cyclophosphamide, or Acyclovir - green tea inhibits degradation.
Use with caution in combination with:
- Anticoagulants - green tea may potentiate the effect.
- 5-fluorouracil - green tea may increase absorption.
EGCG may possibly increase the bioavailability of levodopa in the blood and brain by inhibiting its breakdown.
Warnings
Not suitable for children under 18 and pregnant/lactating women.
Do not use in combination with other green tea products or during fasting.
Do not use with use of bortezomib (drug for malignancy).
