Mattisson organic fiber complex is composed of Agave Inulin and Psyllium fibers. Within the fiber group, you have two varieties: soluble (prebiotic) and insoluble fiber. The Agave Inulin Psyllium in this product is a soluble fiber, the Psyllium an insoluble fiber.

Ingredients
Mattisson's Organic Fiber Complex contains psyllium husk (plantago ouata) powder, inulin (from agave plant).

Suggested use
The recommended dosage of Mattisson's Biological Fiber Complex for adults is 1 to 2 times daily 1 level tablespoon (approx. 15 grams) mixed with water, yogurt or fruit juice. For children aged 6-12 years, the recommended dosage is 1 level tablespoon (approx. 15 grams) per day mixed with water, yogurt or fruit juice. Preferably take in the morning before meals and there should be 2 hours between taking medication and taking the fiber. Drink immediately because psyllium quickly absorbs a lot of liquid and the mixture can become very thick as a result. Do not exceed recommended daily allowance.

Store cool, dry and sealed. Keep out of reach of children. A healthy lifestyle is important, as well as a varied balanced diet, for which dietary supplements are no substitute.

What is Agave Inulin?
The Agave tequilana, also known as the "blue agave," is a plant with blue-gray leaves that grows at an altitude of 1,500 meters in Mexico. It takes 6-7 years for this cactus to mature and ready for harvest. Agave Inulin is often flavorless and colorless and gives food a creamy texture. This soluble fiber, called prebiotics, is broken down in the colon by bacteria during fermentation and results in short-chain fatty acids. This fatty acid is then used as a source of energy for the intestinal epithelium, among other things. Vegetables, fruits, potatoes, legumes and, of course, the inulin from agave products are among the fermentable fibers.

What is Psyllium?
Psyllium (Fleawort) consists of the seed skins of plants and contains more than 80% fiber. Non-soluble and non-fermentable fiber such as psyllium, oatmeal and whole grain products are not absorbed by the body, but do contribute to digestion. Psyllium supports natural bowel movements* and makes you feel full* after meals. Be sure to include adequate fluid intake.
