ALC stands for Acetyl L-Carnitine and is an important amino acid that supports the processes of weight loss and energy production. Red meat and dairy are the richest natural sources of carnitine. The amount of carnitine naturally present in all body cells, particularly in heart muscle and other muscle tissue, decreases as we age.
This formula from LivOn is "packed" in liposomes (microscopic "fat globules") that encase and protect the active ingredient, preventing it from being broken down in the gastrointestinal tract. At the same time, the liposomes act as a kind of "shoehorn" that delivers the active ingredient into the cell at lightning speed.

Acetyl L-Carnitine 1,000 mg, Phospholipids 1,000 mg (from soy lecithin), of which phosphatidylcholine 500 mg, Deionized water, Acetyl L-Carnitine, Lecithin phospholipids, Alcohol (ethanol as a natural preservative), Potassium hydroxide chloride (for Ph adjustment), Xanthan gum.
This product is free from genetically engineered ingredients. This product formula contains no sugar, starch, artificial flavors, artificial colors, meat products, dairy products, wheat, gluten or yeast.
Dosage and warnings
Take 1 sachet of Altrient ALC daily or as recommended by your healthcare professional. To speed up absorption, take Altrient ALC on an empty stomach and wait at least 15 minutes before eating. People with a sensitive gastrointestinal tract may also take it at the same time as a light meal.
Do not exceed the indicated daily dosage of Altrient ALC. For best results, tear the sachet open at the notch and squeeze the contents into a small layer of spring water or juice. Do not stir, but drink in one gulp. Caution! Do not add to hot drinks and do not mix with e.g. a blender or mixer. Read how to take Altrient optimally. Dietary supplements do not replace the need for a varied diet. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing or have a medical condition, consult your doctor before use. Store in a cool, dry place. Altrient ALC will remain most effective and keep if stored in the refrigerator, but will keep for up to one month outside the refrigerator. Do not freeze or place in direct sunlight for long periods of time. Note: The sachets may bulge because air left after the filling process expands over time. This has no effect on the quality of the product. Consult your physician before supplementing L-Acetyl Carnitine if you suffer from any of the following conditions: Epilepsy, major depression or bipolar disorder or if you are using thyroid replacement hormones.
