Looking for a probiotic with different strains of bacteria? Orthiflor Plus is a product with a comprehensive combination of probiotics. Convenient for home or travel. Orthiflor Plus contains a probiotic mix with 9 different strains of bacteria. Probiotics are also found in food, for example in yogurt, cheese, sauerkraut and salami. Orthiflor Plus also contains fructo-oligosaccharides, or prebiotics. The powder is packaged in sachets, and can be easily carried and taken. This probiotic is suitable for vegetarians. Orthiflor Plus is product suitable for use for 10 days, but also for longer periods of time if desired. 

The recommended daily dose is 1 sachet per day, up to a maximum of 2 sachets per day (for a short period of time). For children aged 4 to 12, the maximum daily dosage is 1 sachet per day. The maximum daily doses should not be exceeded. Preferably take on an empty stomach, then no digestive juices are present and this benefits the survival of the probiotics in the body. Add the powder to lukewarm liquid (water, yogurt drink, lemonade) and stir briefly so that the mixture dissolves evenly.

Orthiflor Plus from Orthica contains corn starch, fructo-oligosaccharides, maltodextrin, natural protein isolate, bacterial culture, potassium chloride, magnesium sulfate, enzymes, manganese sulfate.

Orthiflor Plus by Orthica does not contain synthetic preservatives, synthetic colors, flavors and fragrances. Suitable for vegetarians.

Composition

Suggested use
The recommended dosage is 1 sachet per day, unless otherwise advised. Children aged 4 to 12 years maximum 1 sachet per day. The maximum dosage is 2 sachet per day. Do not exceed the maximum daily dosage. Add the powder to lukewarm water or skim milk, yogurt drink, lemonade (syrup) at room temperature, stir and drink preferably on an empty stomach. Store dry and at room temperature, out of reach of children. A dietary supplement cannot replace a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.

At what time of day?
It is preferable to take probiotics on an empty stomach, for example just before bedtime, but any other time of the day is also acceptable. When the stomach is empty, the probiotic bacteria are present in the stomach for a shorter time and digestive juices are not yet produced. Those juices are useful for digestion, of course, but they lower the survival rate of the bacteria in the product. After taking the supplement, wait half an hour before eating, otherwise these juices will still be activated. If one time you can't manage to take the probiotics on an empty stomach, take them at another random time.

Why dissolve?
The powdered Orthiflor products and the powder from the capsules should preferably be dissolved and stirred in lukewarm liquid (see above) before taking them. The billions of bacteria in the capsules, loose powder or pouches have been put into a kind of "dormant state" during production that allows them to be stored for a longer period of time and need liquid to come back to life. If they were put directly into stomach acid in their "sleeping state," a large proportion of the bacteria would not survive. The bacteria also do not like cold liquid. Hand-warm liquid is preferred. If you opt for convenience and take probiotics in chewable tablets, your saliva will provide the necessary moisture.
