Astragalus root (Astragalus membranaceus) is a plant commonly used in China and East Asia. Its active ingredients are a combination of polysaccharides, triterpenes, glucosides, flavonoids, amino acids and trace minerals. Astralagus by New Roots is a standardized extract that guarantees 16% polysaccharides. Each capsule contains 500 mg of astragalus root extract, equivalent to 8,000 mg of root, making it one of the most potent on the market.
