Alpha-lipoic acid occurs only in small amounts in our diet. The main sources are red meat, liver and yeast. Plant sources include spinach, broccoli, tomatoes, lettuce, broad beans, and rice bran.

Ingredients: filler (microcrystalline cellulose); Alpha lipoic acid; Stabilizer (capsule: HPMC); Anti-caking agent (magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide).
Suggested use Alpha-Liponsäure 100 mg: 1 to 3 times daily 1 capsule with meals. Alpha lipon acid can give a shortage of vitamin B1. At high dosages it is advisable to supplement vitamin B1. Supplementation with alpha-lipoic acid is unfavorable in a thiamine deficiency; make sure that the vitamin B1 status is in order before using alpha-lipoic acid.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dosage. A dietary supplement can not replace a varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
